THE HEIGHT OF LAKEVIEW DINING
In 1998 John Cheney was on the opening team of Big Water Grille. He worked as the beverage manager for six years and in 1994 had the opportunity to purchase the restaurant with three investors. By 2012 he had bought out the investors and is still going strong in BWG’s 25th year. The Bullwheel building, where Big Water Grille sits, was built in 1983. There were two different restaurants prior to 1998, Steven until about 1989 and Spatz in the early 1990s.
